Marigold Entertainment is a professional male-and-female duo providing live music for weddings and corporate events — from the ceremony and drinks reception to day-two celebrations.
Female and male vocals with live guitar, every one of your song choices learned and arranged for you, and a warm, polished sound that suits every part of the day.
Laura da Silveira
Vocals
Laura da Silveira is a professionally trained vocalist from Enniscorthy, County Wexford, with years of classical training and a love of performance and vocal pedagogy. She has competed at AIMS and the Kilkenny Music Festival as a solo performer.
Laura is completing the BA Voice programme at the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance (graduating 2027), studying professional vocal pedagogy and vocal health while working across a wide variety of genres. Alongside her studies she provides live entertainment for corporate events.
Al Power
Guitar, Vocals & Drums
Al Power is a drummer, guitarist and singer from Enniscorthy, County Wexford. He began his career as a drummer, performing with bands all around Ireland, and studied under many tutors at Dublin City University — becoming adept across rock, hip-hop and jazz.
His love of trad music always shone through. After years in local sessions playing guitar and singing, Al turned a hobby into a full-time career. He now works in the Irish traditional-music scene, learning his craft in Temple Bar and touring Ireland and Europe with numerous bands and projects.
